(March 28, 2019)— Hagerstown Community College will hold its spring faculty art exhibit from Monday, April 1, through Friday, April 19, in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.
The exhibit will present the latest works of faculty members Audra Haddock-Martenot, Hensch Smith, Margaret Yaukey, Tom Renner, Janet Salter, Beth Carey, Evan Boggess and Joan Bontempo. Works on display will feature a variety of artwork including painting, mixed media sculpture, ceramics, photography, metal, and jewelry.
A reception will be held on Monday, April 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., which will include a lecture by HCC adjunct faculty member, Rev. Dr. Rob Apgar-Taylor. The lecture will explore the intersection beliefs of the Christian faith and Buddhism. This event is free and the public is invited to attend.
