Studnts from the CLC take a barrel ride during the 2019 Fall Fest

(October 23, 2019) – The Children’s Learning Center at Hagerstown Community College held its annual Fall Fest on October 17. Teachers planned a variety of outdoor activities that included an obstacle course, pony and barrel rides, crafts, bean bag toss, a campus “pumpkin patch,” and other games.

Parents and HCC students assisted with the festivities. Pumpkins were donated by Martin’s Foods Stores on Dual Highway and Misty Meadow Farm Creamery in Smithsburg. The pony rides were provided by D&D Pony Rides, LLC, and the barrel rides were made possible by Blue Ridge Summit Fire Department.

The Children’s Learning Center provides preschool classes and child care services for children ages two through five. This nationally accredited program features degreed teachers, rich curriculum, and nutritious meals. The center is open to HCC students, staff, and the community.
