Yates, of Hagerstown, for biotechnology; Shannon R. Myers, of Germantown, for dental hygiene; Sarah A. Garrott, of Sharpsburg, for graphic design technology; Chelsea Bondarenko, of Hagerstown, for early childhood and primary grades education; Armand J. Martenot, of Hagerstown, for electrical engineering technology; Hanna E. Rowe, of Smithsburg, for human services technician; David Kontsevenko, of Hagerstown, for management; Christina M. Recipients of the Commendation for Academic Excellence in Mathematics and Science were Mackenzie A. Shank, of Hagerstown, for biology; Viviana Wamiru, of Hagerstown, for biotechnology; Camden P. Ricketts, of Hagerstown, for chemistry; Khiem M. Thieu, of Waynesboro, Pa., for engineering; Alicia Lewis, of Hagerstown, for environmental studies; Cassandra R. Kachnycz, of Chewsville, for mathematics; and Richard T. Robertson, of Hagerstown, for pre-pharmacy. The recipient of the Commendation for Outstanding Computer Science Graduate was Jessica Shields, of Hagerstown. The recipient of the Commendation for Outstanding Science Graduate was Garrett S. Woods, of Williamsport.
Recipients of the TRiO: Student Support Services Awards of Excellence were Landon Flake and Andrea M. Medina, both of Hagerstown, for academic achievement; Alexander M. Arp, of Hagerstown; Kailea A. McCormick, of Hancock; and Sydney M. Wertz, of Hagerstown, for aspiring scholar; and Nicholas Andreacchio, of Williamsport; Czireyl D. Corpuz of Hagerstown; Cynthia D. Frye, of Hagerstown; Kelly M. Kerney, of Waynesboro, Pa.; and Christopher I. Lunsford, of Fairplay, all for perseverance.
Members recognized for induction into the Educators Rising Honor Society included Chelsea Bondarenko, of Hagerstown; William W. Halbritter, of Hagerstown; and Nicole A. Stonestreet, of Boonsboro. Members of this society must attend at least 75 percent of chapter meetings, activities, and events, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and complete six service hours per year.
