(February 5, 2018)— Hagerstown Community College’s Internship and Job Services Office has partnered with local businesses to collect clean and gently used or new professional clothing to assist HCC students to prepare for internships and employment interviews. Donations will be accepted throughout the month of February.
Collections boxes are located in buildings throughout HCC’s campus and at the following community partner sites: Fives Cinetic, Middletown Valley Bank, Volvo Group of Hagerstown, Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Washington County Public Schools main offices, and Worx Graphics.
Acceptable items to donate include suits, jackets, shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, dresses, shoes, ties, scarves, and accessories. The clothing will be on display during the HCC Career Closet on March 20 and 21. Students will have the opportunity to select items to start building a professional wardrobe free of charge.
