(May 4, 2017)— Hagerstown Community College will host the NJCAA Region 20 Division I Baseball Tournament on Friday, May 12, Saturday, May 13, and Sunday, May 14, at the Hagerstown Suns Municipal Stadium.
On Friday, double elimination format game times are set for 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. Saturday games will be played at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with the championship game being played on Sunday, starting at 11 a.m.
Baseball teams from the following colleges will be represented during the tournament: Chesapeake College, Hagerstown Community College, Harford Community College, and Potomac State College of West Virginia University.
“This region has a great baseball tradition and we are excited to showcase the quality teams that continue to add to this rich tradition. Playing the Region 20 tournament at Municipal Stadium, home of the Hagerstown Suns, adds an exciting and historical element to this year’s games,” said HCC Director of Athletics Bob Rohan. “We can’t wait for the first pitch!”
The tournament is open to the public and admission is 10 dollars per day. Concessions will be provided by the Hagerstown Suns.
