HCC interns placed throughout community


(Release: October 25, 2011) - For the fall semester, Hagerstown Community College has 20 student interns working in organizations throughout the community.
In the alternative energy technology program, Ryan Ballard, of Hagerstown, is interning at Mountain View Solar and Wind.

In the biotechnology program, interns include Jonathan Adams, of Hagerstown, at Washington County Department of Water Quality, and Dana Casey-Kriechbaum and Kenise Lewis, both of Hagerstown, and Cynthia Starzyk, of Smithsburg, at InnovaBio MD.
In the graphic design program, Natalie Markovich, of Greencastle, Pa., is placed with the Women’s Journal of Western Maryland and Scott Wise, of Hagerstown, is at the C&O National Historic Park.

In the field of human services, Wilbur Brunner, of Hagerstown, is interning at Reach of Washington County and Debra Taylor, of Hagerstown, is at the Washington County Health Department.

In computer forensics, Damien Armstrong, of Hagerstown, is interning with Guild Launch. Christian Shifflett, of Bunker Hill, W.V., is interning at Winchester Medical Center as part of the computer support specialist program.

In the networking technology program, interns include Paul Baka, of Waynesboro, Pa., at Ongoing Operations, Williams Leskovec, of Winchester, Va., at the C&O National Historic Park, Benjamin Rivera, of Hagerstown, at Global Data Consultants, Christian Snyder, of Hagerstown, at Washington County Government, and Joshua Stultz, of Maugansville, at HCC.

Bobbie Fairman, of Boonsboro, is interning at Mt. Nebo Christian Preschool as part of the child care professional program.

In the pharmacy technician program, interns include Jeffrey Cook, of Clear Spring, at Home Care Pharmacy, Patricia Munoz, Greencastle, Pa., at CVS Pharmacy, and Blanca Quezada, of Hagerstown, at Meritus Medical Center and Home Care Pharmacy.
