(Hagerstown, MD) – Hagerstown Community College is offering a hybrid Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate (EMT-I) to Paramedic Bridge Certificate this fall. The program will allow each student to become a National Registry-Certified Paramedic in two semesters while completing 90 percent of course work online. Classes begin on August 28.
Students will complete training and course work through online courses, in-person meeting sessions, and 250 hours of clinical/field shifts. After completion of the EMT-I to Paramedic Certificate, students have the option to complete the Paramedic Emergency Services Program to earn an associate of applied science degree.
