HCC student awarded Maryland Law Enforcement Scholarship

Hagerstown Community College student Jentel Jordan, of Boonsboro, was recently awarded a scholarship from the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers, Inc.

(May 4, 2018)— Hagerstown Community College student Jentel Jordan, of Boonsboro, was recently awarded a scholarship from the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers, Inc.

Jordan, 28, is an administration of justice major and will graduate with an associate degree next fall. After graduation, she plans to transfer to a four-year school and pursue a career in law enforcement for the Baltimore City Police Department.

Maryland Law Enforcement Officers is a professional non-profit organization headquartered in Baltimore. The scholarship was established for Maryland students in good academic standing who are planning a career in law enforcement and have financial need.
