HCC student awarded Maryland Law Enforcement Scholarship

Curtis Chedester, receives a $1,000 scholarship from the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers, Inc.

(April 29, 2019)— Hagerstown Community College student Curtis Chedester, of Maugansville, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers, Inc.

Chedester, 22, is an administration of justice major and will graduate with an associate degree this fall. After graduation, he plans to transfer to a four-year school and pursue a degree in criminal justice.

Maryland Law Enforcement Officers is a professional non-profit organization headquartered in Baltimore. The scholarship was established for Maryland students in good academic standing who are planning a career in law enforcement and have financial need.
