(February 6, 2019)— Hagerstown Community College students Katie Kriner, Chloe Hadley, and Madeline Miller, all of Hagerstown, were recently awarded athletic scholarships from the Home Builders Association of Washington County, Inc. (HBAWC).
Kriner, 20, is pursuing a nursing degree at HCC and is a member of the Hawks women’s soccer team. Hadley, 20, is majoring in education at HCC and is a member of the Hawks women’s soccer team. Miller, 19, is majoring in health, physical education, and leisure studies at HCC and is a member of the Hawks volleyball and softball teams.
The HBAWC scholarship was established in April of 1998 and is an endowed scholarship donated from the proceeds of the home shows held in the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC) on HCC’s main campus.
