(July 12, 2018) – The Washington County Health Department will host free Narcan trainings on Monday, July 16, at 10 a.m., and Monday, August 13, at 12 p.m. in HCC’s Student Center, room 170.
In an effort to provide education on how to recognize, respond to, and prevent opioid overdose, these monthly Narcan trainings are free and open to the public. Participants will receive Naloxone, an overdose prevention kit, and all other supplies necessary to intervene in the event of an overdose.
If you are concerned that a loved one is at risk for overdosing on heroin or a prescription pain medication, this training is for you. For more information, call 240-500-2628.
