Registration now open for HCC’s College for Kids summer program

(February 6, 2019) – Hagerstown Community College will begin another summer of College for Kids programming on June 17. Registration is now open for week-long courses that cover a variety of exciting subjects for students in elementary grades through high school. Of the nearly 100 camps offered, more than 25 are new this summer.

Camps are led by highly qualified instructors in small class settings with an emphasis on hands-on, interactive learning experiences. Campers can explore subjects such as Good Eats: Head Chefs, Amazing Adventures with Magic Tree House, ATC Prep, Wicked: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road, Backyard Ballistics, Graphic and Interactive Design, Comics Collide: Marvel vs. DC, Photography, and many others.

Camps start June 17 and continue through the week of August 9, with a break the week of July 4. Campers meet Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Individual camp costs vary according to section and materials needed.
