(Release: July 15, 2014)— The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Air Force Concert Band as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
The U.S. Air Force Concert Band is the largest symphonic wind ensemble in the United States Air Force Band. The Concert Band presents more than 100 concerts annually and performs a wide variety of music from light classics, popular favorites, and instrumental features, to classical transcriptions and original works. The Concert Band performs regularly for the general public in the greater Washington, D.C., area and on biannual community relations tours throughout the United States.
Co-sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, this concert is free and is open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds.
