U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors Dixieland Band

(Release: July 31, 2014)— The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors Dixieland Band as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Friday, August 15, 2014, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.

The Jazz Ambassadors Dixieland Band was formed in 1969 and is the official touring “big band” of the U.S. Army. Comprised of seven key members, the Jazz Ambassadors play a wide variety of traditional jazz and swing and is well known for its positive energy and upbeat numbers.

Co-sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, this concert is free and is open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds.
