(Hagerstown, Md.)— The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Navy Cruisers as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Concert Series, on Sunday, July 15, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
The U.S. Navy Cruisers is an eight-member contemporary music ensemble under the direction of Chief Musician Leon Alexander. The Cruisers take their name from the Navy's multi-mission ship, the Cruiser, and perform a variety of music including jazz and standards, rhythm and blues, classic rock, contemporary, and pop, as well as original pieces.
Sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Korean War Veterans Association Chapter 312, Joint Veterans Council, and Forty & Eight Voiture 651, this concert is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note that no outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds and concerts are subject to change by the U.S. Military.
