  • HCC students collect donations for Humane Society of Washington County

    During the month of November, the Leadership Club at Hagerstown Community College collected donations to benefit the Humane Society of Washington County. The club donated 25 pull toys made by HCC students, along with blankets, dog and cat food, cat litter, and other supplies. 

  • Maryland Entertainment Group presents “A Victorian Christmas”

    MEG Theatre presents “A Victorian Christmas” at two venues this holiday season! December 13th and 14th at 8pm & 15th at 2pm at Hagerstown Community College’s Black Box Theater. Enjoy classic and beautifully arranged Christmas carols and dancing, and be sure to laugh wholeheartedly along to holiday jests that are sure to put you into the Christmas spirit! 

  • HCC raises $10,513 to benefit United Way of Washington County

    During the month of October and November, faculty, staff, and students from Hagerstown Community College held a giving campaign to benefit the United Way of Washington County. Between October 7 and November 7, $10,513 was collected or pledged to the United Way. 

  • HCC to hold fall student art exhibit in December

    Hagerstown Community College will hold its fall student art exhibit from Monday, Dec. 9, through Friday, Dec. 13, in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus. The fall student art exhibit will feature a variety of artwork including painting, drawing, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, mixed media, and photography. 

  • HCC to hold winter student dance concert

    The English and Humanities Division at Hagerstown Community College will hold a winter dance concert on Saturday, December 7, at 7 p.m., in the Kepler Theater. Dance students will perform up-tempo jazz and tap numbers, modern and ballet dance.

  • Three students in HCC’s radiography program win awards

    Three Hagerstown Community College students recently won awards during the Maryland Society of Radiologic Technologists Student Essay Competition and Ted Lynch Award recognition. In this year’s essay competition, three HCC students won the top awards. 

  • HCC Middle College to hold info sessions

    Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wednesdays, November 20 and December 18, at 4 p.m., in the Learning Resource Center, room 254. 

  • 5K “Turkey Trot” to be held at HCC

    HCC's athletic teams will host the 19th annual “Turkey Trot” 5K run/walk/kids races and food/toy drive on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, on the HCC campus. Packet pick-up will start at 7 a.m., followed by the race start at 9 a.m. The Turkey Trot is a dog-friendly event and dogs may be registered for the race for $5.

  • Kris Kringle Holiday Craft Show to be held at HCC

    The 36th annual Kris Kringle Holiday Craft Show will be held at Hagerstown Community College on Saturday, November 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC) on campus. 

  • HCC to offer info sessions for dental programs

    Free information sessions will be held in December and February for those who want to learn more about the dental assisting and dental hygiene programs at HCC. The first session will be held on Monday, Dec. 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and the second session will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

  • HCC Student Parent Holiday Celebration 2019

    The HCC Student Parent Holiday Celebration will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Student Center (STC) room 182. Calling all HCC Student Parents! Bring your children for an informal, relaxed, holiday event to celebrate the end of the fall semester. There will be treats and activities for all ages!
