  • HCC students to perform “Oedipus & Antigone”

    Students from Hagerstown Community College’s Elements of Dramatic Production course will perform Sophocles’ “Oedipus & Antigone,” from Friday, March 24, through Sunday, March 26, in the Kepler Center Blackbox Theater on HCC’s main campus. 

  • FAFSA tax information for students

    The Student Financial Aid Office at Hagerstown Community College would like to make students aware of an issue with the U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid FAFSA process. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will be unavailable for several weeks. Students completing the FAFSA can manually input tax information. (Note: The 2017-18 FAFSA requires 2015 tax info, not 2016.)

  • Police Academy now accepting applications

     Applications are now being accepted for the next class of the Hagerstown Community College Police Academy. This class starts July 3, 2017 and runs through December 15. The application deadline is May 15, 2017. 

  • HCC to hold spring open house on March 25

    Hagerstown Community College will hold an open house for prospective students on Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in HCC’s Student Center. The event is free and open to the public. 

  • HCC to offer Spanish driver education classes

    Hagerstown Community College will offer Educación Vial, driver education classes in Spanish, from February 28 to March 30, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:30 to 8:45 p.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.

  • HCC Middle College to hold info sessions

    Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wednesdays, March 1, March 22, April 5, and April 19, at 4 p.m., in the Learning Resource Center, room 254. 

  • HCC’s College for Kids to offer tech classes for middle school girls

    The College for Kids program at Hagerstown Community College will offer a special group of technology classes this summer, targeting middle school girls entering grades six to eight. Through funding from JLG Industries, Inc., and a grant from the National Science Foundation, these classes are offered for the reduced cost of $8 each.
