  • College for Kids Open House - Feb. 21

    An open house for the summer College for Kids program will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, at HCC's Valley Mall Center. Parents can register for classes and door prizes.

  • Big Hero 6 Movie Showing - Jan. 30-31

    HCC's SGA will host a free showing of Walt Disney’s animated superhero action comedy, “Big Hero 6,” on Friday, January 30, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, January 31, at 1 p.m., in the Kepler Theater.

  • College 101 Workshops - Jan. 27-31

    The LSC will host a free workshop series on navigating the college website and organization/time management skills from Jan. 27-Jan. 31. Workshops are open to all HCC students.

  • HCC announces fall 2014 dean’s list

    (Release: January 15, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College recently announced its dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above.

  • Vendors wanted for HCC’s annual Flower & Garden Show

    (Release: January 8, 2015)— The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association is currently seeking vendors and exhibitors for its annual Flower & Garden Show, which will be held on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the college’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC).

College 101: Organization and Time Management Skills will help students organize their academic materials and utilize a day planner/calendar to balance their academic, personal, and work commitments.The workshop will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Learning Support Center.     The HCC Campus Store (Bookstore) will have a textbook buyback on Jan. 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day in the HCC Campus Store.   • NOW Club Field Trip

    On Sunday, Feb. 1, the HCC NOW Club will be going to the National Museum of Women in the Arts (nmwa.org) in Washington, D.C. The bus will leave at  10 a.m. and return between 5 and 5:30 p.m. To reserve a seat on the bus, sign up at the Student Activities Office, located in the Student Center. The fee is $5, which you need to pay to register for the trip.
