  • HCC Spring Fling Celebration - April 20 - 25

    The Student Activities office will host the annual end-of-semester Spring Fling celebration, which is a week of activities on campus from April 20 through 25. All events are free.

  • HCC Receives Positive Accreditation Report

    On Wednesday, the review team chair reported that HCC met all of the 14 standards of excellence identified by Middle States. Middle States accreditation designation allows HCC to receive federal program grants and financial aid for its students, and it enhances the transfer of college credits to other accredited institutions.

  • HCC to Hold Spring Student Art Exhibit

    Hagerstown Community College will hold its annual spring student art exhibit from Monday, April 27, through Tuesday, May 5, in the Kepler Center. The art exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • HCC Students to Raise Awareness of Child Abuse

    A group of students in the Human Services Program at Hagerstown Community College has organized a weeklong campaign to raise awareness about child abuse and prevention, beginning April 20.

  • Casting Call Photo Contest - April 6-10

    The annual student casting call contest will be held from April 6 through April 10 and is open to all currently enrolled students. Participants are automatically entered in a drawing to win an Amazon gift card and a select group of students will be featured in the college's fall marketing campaign.


  • CREAS Mock Trauma Training Event

    The Annual CREAS Mock Trauma Event for graduating students in the nursing and health sciences programs will be held on April 18, 2015, beginning at 8 a.m. This event is for students and faculty only and is not open to the public. For more information, contact Matt Dorsey at

  • Antietam Battlefield Tour

    Retired Professor Tom Clemens will lead a special tour of the Antietam Battlefield on Saturday, April 18. This trip is open to HCC students, employees & guests. The Bus leaves at 9 a.m. and will return to campus by 2 p.m. This trip is free and lunch will be provided.

  • Shepherd University Transfer Advisor Visit

  • Carnival Day

    Activities include: Zero Shock Stunt Jump, Kona Ice truck, balloons, facepaint, juggler, Phantom Shadow DJ, carnival food, and a Distracted Driver Simulator. There will be a special program at noon in STEM 401 with a victim of a distracted driving accident and lunch is included.
