    (Release: February 16, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College will hold a special information night for graduating high school seniors on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.

    (Release: February 10, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College will hold a special information night for students interested in HCC’s ESSENCE Program on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., in the Elliott Center on HCC’s main campus.

  • FAFSA Frenzy - Feb. 21-22

    FAFSA Frenzy provides support for local high school seniors and new college students in completing their FAFSAs, which are needed to apply for state aid and scholarships. Maryland deadline is March 1.

    HCC will hold a special information night for students interested in HCC’s ESSENCE Early College Program on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., in the Elliott Center. Parents are welcome to attend.

    HCC will hold a special information night for graduating high school seniors on Tuesday, March 12, 2014, at 6:30 p.m., in the Kepler Center. Parents are welcome to attend.

  • HCC student nominated for All-USA Academic Team

    (Release: February 5, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College graduate April “Kate” Hamilton, of Hagerstown, was recently nominated as part of USA TODAY’s All-USA Community College Academic Team, a program that annually recognizes exceptional students at the nation’s community colleges.

  • HCC nursing students score second highest in state

    (Release: February 3, 2015) – Students in the associate degree nursing program at Hagerstown Community College scored second highest among all Maryland colleges for the NCLEX-RN first-time candidate exam, during the 2013-2014 academic year. Seventy-eight of 82 students passed the exam for an overall pass rate of 95.12 percent.

  • LSC Workshop: Citing Sources

    The Learning Support Center (LSC) will host a free workshop for students. Citing Sources and Avoiding Plagiarism will help students learn how to integrate sources, format in-text citations and footnotes, and create a bibliography page for a variety of writing styles. The workshop will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Learning Support Center. Advance registration requested.

  • College for Kids Open House

    The open house for Hagerstown Community College’s College for Kids (CFK) program, originally scheduled for Feb. 21, has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center.

  • Spring Break 2015 - No Classes Held

    Spring Break will be held for faculty and students from March 8 through March 14, 2015. No classes will be held during that time.

    Administrative offices will remain open from March 9 through March 12 of that week, but will close for staff spring break on March 13. The entire campus will be closed on March 13, 2015.
