  • HCC to offer free information sessions for rad tech students

    (Release: January 7, 2015) – Two free information sessions will be provided at Hagerstown Community College for prospective students interested in the Radiography Program. A representative from the Radiography Program will offer information about the program and a member of Academic Advising will discuss the admissions requirements and application process.  

  • HCC Middle College info sessions to be held

    (Release: January 6, 2015) – Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, Wednesday, Feb. 4, and Thursday, Feb. 19, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the STEM Building, room 407.
                    

  • TEDCO to hold update and webinar

    (Release: December 19, 2014) – TEDCO’s Rural Business Innovation Initiative (RBI2) will hold an update and webinar on Friday, Jan. 9, from noon to 4 p.m., in the Elliott Center at Hagerstown Community College. The event is offered free of charge and is open to the public.
                    

  • New Student Orientation - Jan. 8 & 10

    New Student Orientation will be held twice in January. Students can choose one of the following sessions: Jan. 8 or 10. Advance registration required.

  • HCC baseball team donates $500 to Toys for Tots

    (Release: December 18, 2014)— The Hagerstown Community College baseball team donated $500 to the local Toys for Tots campaign on Wednesday, Dec. 17, in the ARCC.

    Like other HCC athletic teams, the baseball team holds multiple fundraisers throughout the year to supplement scholarships and program expenses.

    The Learning Support Center (LSC) will host a free workshop for students. College 101: Organization and Time Management Skills will help students organize their academic materials and utilize a day planner/calendar to balance their academic, personal, and work commitments.The workshop will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Learning Support Center. Advance registration requested.

  • Book Buyback

    The HCC Campus Store (Bookstore) will have a textbook buyback on Jan. 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day in the HCC Campus Store.   • NOW Club Field Trip

    On Sunday, Feb. 1, the HCC NOW Club will be going to the National Museum of Women in the Arts (nmwa.org) in Washington, D.C. The bus will leave at  10 a.m. and return between 5 and 5:30 p.m. To reserve a seat on the bus, sign up at the Student Activities Office, located in the Student Center. The fee is $5, which you need to pay to register for the trip.
