There are many upcoming opportunities for students to explore their options to transfer to a four-year college. From now until the end of December, transfer advisors from the 11 schools will be visiting HCC’s campus to meet with interested students. Additionally there will be a Fall Transfer Fair on Thursday, October 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Student Center, main dining room.
Due to the predicted weather forecast, HCC's previously scheduled first annual HCC Cruz In on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, is canceled and will be postponed until Spring. More details to come later.
Free information sessions will be held this fall for those who want to learn more about the dental hygiene program at Hagerstown Community College. The first session will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in the Career Programs Building, room 122. The second session will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., in the Career Programs Building, room 131.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a $617,648 grant to Hagerstown Community College (HCC) to support its new Advanced Manufacturing Systems Program. HCC recently received approval from the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) for its Advanced Manufacturing Systems Program (ADM).
