  • HCC Robotics Club to host skills challenge

    The Hagerstown Community College Robotics Club will host a Vex Robotics Competition (skills only) for area high school students, on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m., in HCC’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center.

  • HCC and MEG announce partnership

    Through the partnership, MEG will provide an artist-in-residence program at HCC where qualified HCC students will have the opportunity to work with professional actors and directors on stage or behind the scenes. They will produce five full theatrical productions each year, providing the community access to contemporary and classic theatre. 

  • Vendors wanted for HCC’s annual Flower & Garden Show

    The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association is currently seeking vendors and exhibitors for its annual Flower & Garden Show, which will be held on Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18, at the college’s Athletic, Recreation and Community Center (ARCC). 

  • HCC accepts 44 new members into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

    Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the national honor society at Hagerstown Community College, recently accepted 44 new members. To be eligible for PTK, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and must have completed 12 credit hours of college-level work at HCC. 

  • HCC Middle College accepting applications for fall

    The STEMM Technical Middle College (STMC) at Hagerstown Community College is now accepting applications for the fall 2018 class, with a priority deadline of March 1. Interested students and parents are encouraged to attend one of the program information sessions on Wednesdays, Jan. 24, Feb. 7, and Feb. 21, at 4 p.m., in the Learning Resource Center, room 254. 

  • HCC offers spring late-start classes

    The spring semester is underway at Hagerstown Community College, but there is still time to register for late-start spring classes. Shorter sessions begin January 22, February 13, and March 12. 

  • HCC announces fall 2017 dean’s list

    Hagerstown Community College recently announced its dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more of college-level courses) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above.

  • Business Club Bake Sale

    HCC's Business Club will hold a Bake Sale in the Student Center on Wednesday, February, 20 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Rotary Club Bull and Oyster Roast

    Hagerstown Rotary Club Bull and Oyster Roast will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the ARCC.

  • Spring Break 2019 - No Classes Held

    Spring Break will be held for faculty and students from March 3 through March 9, 2019. No classes will be held during that time.

    Administrative offices will remain open from March 4 through March 7 of that week, but will close for staff spring break on March 8. The entire campus will be closed on March 8, 2019.

    HCC will be closed for staff spring break on March 8, 2019. No classes will be held and all administrative offices will be closed.

  • Summer Registration Starts

    Registration for Summer 2018 classes starts March 11, 2019. Register online via WebAdvisor beginning at 6 a.m. Summer classes start May 6, 2019. For more information, contact the Academic Advising and Registration Office of at advise@hagerstowncc.edu.

  • The Flower and Garden Show

    Hagerstown Community College's Alumni Association will host its Twenty-Fifth Annual Fower and Garden Show in the ARCC on Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, March 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Show admission is $5 per adult and children under 12 are free. Parking is also free for this event.
