HCC student awarded Maryland Law Enforcement Scholarship

Hagerstown Community College student Rachel Haymes, of Hagerstown, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Maryland Law Enforcement Officers, Inc.

Haymes is an administration of justice major who plans to earn a bachelor’s degree after graduation from HCC, attend law school, and eventually become a federal judge.

Maryland Law Enforcement Officers is a professional non-profit organization headquartered in Baltimore. The scholarship was established for students in good academic standing who are planning a career in law enforcement and have financial need.
