(Release: February 3, 2015) – Students in the associate degree nursing program at Hagerstown Community College scored second highest among all Maryland colleges for the NCLEX-RN first-time candidate exam, during the 2013-2014 academic year. Seventy-eight of 82 students passed the exam for an overall pass rate of 95.12 percent.
(Release: February 2, 2015)— The Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College will offer a one-day Civil War seminar on Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the Elliott Center on HCC’s main campus. The seminar is being offered as part of the 150th commemoration of the Civil War.
The LSC will host a free workshop series on document design from Feb. 3-6. Workshops are open to all HCC students.
HCC will hold an information session on Monday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m., for the upcoming Biotechnology Summer Institute. Parents and prospective students are invited to attend.
An open house for the summer College for Kids program will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon, at HCC's Valley Mall Center. Parents can register for classes and door prizes.
