    (Release: February 16, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College will hold a special information night for graduating high school seniors on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus.

    (Release: February 10, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College will hold a special information night for students interested in HCC’s ESSENCE Program on Tuesday, March 10, at 6:30 p.m., in the Elliott Center on HCC’s main campus.

  • FAFSA Frenzy - Feb. 21-22

    FAFSA Frenzy provides support for local high school seniors and new college students in completing their FAFSAs, which are needed to apply for state aid and scholarships. Maryland deadline is March 1.

  • HCC student nominated for All-USA Academic Team

    (Release: February 5, 2015)— Hagerstown Community College graduate April “Kate” Hamilton, of Hagerstown, was recently nominated as part of USA TODAY’s All-USA Community College Academic Team, a program that annually recognizes exceptional students at the nation’s community colleges.

  • HCC nursing students score second highest in state

    (Release: February 3, 2015) – Students in the associate degree nursing program at Hagerstown Community College scored second highest among all Maryland colleges for the NCLEX-RN first-time candidate exam, during the 2013-2014 academic year. Seventy-eight of 82 students passed the exam for an overall pass rate of 95.12 percent.

  • Exploring Strategies for Multiplying and Dividing Fractions

    A free math lecture series will be presented at Hagerstown Community College in February and March. Associate Professor Joseph Mason will present four lectures with a focus on “Viewing Math from a Different Side,” in which he will describe a variety of strategies for performing computational math.

  • Maryland Assessment Group Mini Conference
