  • HCC Receives Positive Accreditation Report

    On Wednesday, the review team chair reported that HCC met all of the 14 standards of excellence identified by Middle States. Middle States accreditation designation allows HCC to receive federal program grants and financial aid for its students, and it enhances the transfer of college credits to other accredited institutions.

  • HCC to Hold Spring Student Art Exhibit

    Hagerstown Community College will hold its annual spring student art exhibit from Monday, April 27, through Tuesday, May 5, in the Kepler Center. The art exhibit will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • HCC Students to Raise Awareness of Child Abuse

    A group of students in the Human Services Program at Hagerstown Community College has organized a weeklong campaign to raise awareness about child abuse and prevention, beginning April 20.

  • Casting Call Photo Contest - April 6-10

    The annual student casting call contest will be held from April 6 through April 10 and is open to all currently enrolled students. Participants are automatically entered in a drawing to win an Amazon gift card and a select group of students will be featured in the college's fall marketing campaign.

  • McAfee artwork on display from May 15 - June 18

    Artwork by adjunct instructor and artist Ben McAfee will be on display from May 15 through June 18, 2015, at the Art Association of Harrisburg's 87th Annual International Juried Exhibition.

    HCC closed for Independence Day. No classes will be held and all administrative offices are closed.

    The Eleventh Annual “Red, White & Blue” Concert Series

    All concerts will be held in the Alumni Amphitheater located and are free and open to the public.

  • STMC Summer Bridge Program

    The two-week STEMM Technical Middle College (STMC) Summer Bridge program is designed for students in 8th through 10th grade who are interested in the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) career fields. The program is free and runs July 6-17, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

    The tour will last approximately one hour, and students will be shown where their classrooms are located. Each tour is limited to 10 students. Students must pre-register in advance by emailing hbbarnhart@hagerstowncc.edu. Family members are welcome to attend with the student.
