  • Tobacco-Free Workshops - Now through Nov. 5

    The Washington County Health Department will offer a series of free "Tobacco Free for Life" workshops in October and November. All workshops will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center.

  • Turkey Trot - Nov. 27

    HCC, in partnership with local food banks, will hold its 14th Annual Turkey Trot on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the ARCC. Open to the public.

  • HCC and Washington County Historical Society to offer class

    (Release: October 3, 2014) – Hagerstown Community College and the Washington County Historical Society will offer a non-credit course entitled, “Drink Up! A History of Alcohol Production and Consumption in Washington County,” in November.
                    

  • Washington County College Fair - Oct. 15

    The annual Washington County College Fair will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the ARCC. Representatives from over 100 colleges, universities, and technical schools will be on-site.

  • HCC Music Festival - Oct. 9-10

    HCC's Student Government Association will hold a music festival on Thursday, Oct. 9, and Friday, Oct. 10, on HCC's main campus. Admission is free for HCC students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

  • HCC awarded $797,916 U.S. Dept. of Labor grant

    (Release: September 30, 2014) – Hagerstown Community College will receive $797,916 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Labor to help fund its cybersecurity curriculum. HCC is one of 14 community colleges in Maryland to benefit from $15 million in grant funding to support job training programs.

  • Annual College Fair - Oct. 15

    The 2014 Washington County College Fair will be held on Wednesday, October 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the ARCC. Over 100 colleges will be in attendance. This event is free and is open to the public.

  • Equinox Dance Company Performs - Oct. 18

    HCC will host a special performance by the Equinox Dance Company on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m., in the Kepler Theater. This event is free and is open to the public.

  • Bodices for Goddesses Exhibit - Oct. 5-30

    HCC will host a mixed media art exhibit, “Bodices for Goddesses,” from Oct. 5 through Oct. 30, in the Kepler Center. An opening reception will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m.
