Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the national honor society at Hagerstown Community College, recently inducted 129 new members. To be eligible for PTK, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and must have completed 12 credit hours of college-level work at HCC as a full-time student, or 24 credit hours of college-level work at HCC as a part-time student.
Hagerstown Community College recently announced its dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above
The deadline for new applicants has been extended to Sept. 11. HCC students majoring in STEM-based programs (science, technology, engineering, or math) are eligible to apply for the S-STEM scholarship.
The Hagerstown Community College Alumni Association will host the U.S. Navy Commodores as part of its annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series, on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 6:15 p.m., in HCC’s Alumni Amphitheater.
Program information sessions for the STEMM (science, technology, engineering, math, medical) Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College will be held on Thursday, June 26 and Thursday, July 22, 2014, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the STEM Building.
HCC's recently announced its concert schedule for the tenth annual Red, White and Blue Summer Concert Series. All concerts are free and are open to the public.
HCC students and alumni are encouraged to join College Central Network (CCN), the primary job posting service for HCC.
Campus tours are given every Tuesday at 10 a.m. and Wednesday at 2 p.m. during the month of August. The tour will last approximately one hour, and students will be shown where their classrooms are located. Pre-registration required.
New Student Orientation Sessions will be held on August 19, 21, and 23. Family members are welcome to attend. Advance registration is required.

Hagerstown Community College’s Alumni Association will host its annual Alumni & Friends Cruise in winter 2015. The 11-day, 10-night cruise will be held from January 26 through February 6, 2015, aboard Holland American Line’s “ms Noordam” cruise ship.
