  • HCC students to perform “An Evening of Dance”

    The English and Humanities Division at Hagerstown Community College will hold “An Evening of Dance,” on Saturday, April 30, at 7 p.m., in the Kepler Theater. The event will feature students from HCC’s Dance Company and dance classes. Guest choreographers include HCC graduate Mary Teal Mulligan and Kelsy Rupp from Light Switch Dance Company. 

  • HCC to hold spring student art exhibit in April

    Hagerstown Community College will hold its spring student art exhibit from Monday, April 25, through Sunday, May 1, in the Kepler Center on HCC’s main campus. The opening reception will be held on Friday, April 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

  • Registration open for HCC’s Cybersecurity Summer Institute

    Hagerstown Community College’s Technology and Computer Studies Division will offer its annual Cybersecurity Summer Institute (CSI) for high school students from July 19 through August 22, in the STEM Building on campus. Eligible applicants are high school juniors and seniors.

  • HCC recognizes Child Abuse Awareness Month

    April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and HCC’s Human Services Class is having a "Goodnight's Sleep Drive" to help collect items for children who have temporarily been displaced from their homes. The class will be collecting new items such as stuffed animals, blankets, pillows, night lights and overnight bags. 

  • Robinwood Players to perform “Little Women the Musical”

    Hagerstown Community College’s Robinwood Players will perform “Little Women the Musical,” based on the novel by Louisa May Alcott, from Friday, April 22, through Sunday, April 24, in the Kepler Theater on HCC’s main campus. General admission is $15, but HCC students, staff, and faculty can attend for free. 

  • HCC to hold emergency assessment scenario on April 16

    Hagerstown Community College will conduct its annual Critical Response Emergency Assessment Scenario (CREAS) training event on Saturday, April 16, beginning at 8:30 a.m., on HCC’s main campus. The event is closed to the public, but the community should be aware that multiple area emergency response vehicles will be on campus as part of the training. 

  • Volleyball camp offered at HCC

    Volleyball camp will be offered at Hagerstown Community College this summer, for students in grades three through 12. The camp is designed for players of all skill levels who want to work on fundamentals of the game or learn the game for the first time.

  • HCC to offer free information sessions for rad tech students

    Two free information sessions will be provided at Hagerstown Community College for prospective students interested in the Radiography Program. The first information session will be held on Thursday, April 7, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and the second session will be held on Friday, April 15, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. 

  • 2016 Casting Call Photo Contest March 28 to April 1

    The Public Information and Government Relations Office (PIGR) at Hagerstown Community College will hold its annual Casting Call Photo Contest from 7:30 a.m. on Monday, March 28, to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 1. The photo contest allows students to enter for a chance to win a $25 amazon gift card and a chance to participate in HCC's marketing photoshoots.
