  • New Student Center Hours - Effective Sept. 22

    Renovation and expansion of the existing Student Center began on Sept. 12. The renovation will continue throughout the next year and will finish in fall 2015. During that time, hours for the Student Center will be reduced. The new hours will go into effect on Mon., Sept. 22.

  • New Continuing Education Business Programs

    HCC’s Continuing Education and Business Services Division meets with local business leaders to develop and deliver programs that keep their employees’ skills sharp. In FY14, Continuing Education delivered many contracted training sections to business clients across the region.

  • HCC student wins Kline scholarship

    Hagerstown Community College student Meghan Berry, of Hagerstown, recently won the Helen and Gene Kline Scholarship for the fall 2014 semester.

  • HCC receives grant from National Science Foundation to partner with JHU

    (Release: August 1, 2014) – The National Science Foundation has awarded a $713,996 grant to Hagerstown Community College to support a partnership with the Johns Hopkins University to offer research opportunities and hands-on training to students studying cybersecurity at HCC.
     

  • Kempler joins HCC art department

    The English and Humanities Division at Hagerstown Community College recently announced that artist Erica Kempler has joined HCC’s art department as an adjunct faculty member.

  • Spring Break 2015 - No Classes Held

    Spring Break will be held for faculty and students from March 8 through March 14, 2015. No classes will be held during that time.

    Administrative offices will remain open from March 9 through March 12 of that week, but will close for staff spring break on March 13. The entire campus will be closed on March 13, 2015.

    On Wednesday, March 11, the Washington County Health Department will offer a free "Tobacco Free for Life" workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center.

  • BIFSA Spring Festival Concert
