  • Alumni Association Cruise Preview Party - Oct. 18

    The HCC Alumni Association will host a free cruise preview party on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m., at HCC’s Valley Mall Center, for the upcoming 2015 Alumni & Friends Cruise. The cruise is open to the public.

  • STMC program continues to grow

    HCC launched its STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Medical) Technical Middle College, or STMC, in fall 2013.

  • HCC breaks ground on Student Center expansion

    HCC broke ground on its Student Center expansion on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014. The $15 million dollar project will add an additional 29,229 sq.ft. to the existing 19,000 sq.-ft. Student Center and will feature enhanced student lounge areas, study spaces, and meeting rooms for campus clubs. An additional 10,000 sq.-ft.

  • Miller writes children's book to celebrate new City Park sculpture

    (Release: September 26, 2014) - Amanda Miller, associate professor of English at HCC, recently collaborated with artist Paul Rhymer to create a new children's book, "The Fishing Lesson," to celebrate the installment of a brand new sculpture of the same name at Hagerstown City Park.

  • Register now for spring 2015 classes

    Need a Gen Ed course or another class to fill your schedule? Several Gen Ed courses are still open for the spring 2015 semester. Classes start Jan. 12, 2015. Register now.

  • New Student Center Hours - Effective Sept. 22

    Renovation and expansion of the existing Student Center began on Sept. 12. The renovation will continue throughout the next year and will finish in fall 2015. During that time, hours for the Student Center will be reduced. The new hours will go into effect on Mon., Sept. 22.

  • Dead Poets Society Film Showing - Sept. 19-20

    A free showing of Dead Poets Society starring Robin Williams will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m., in the Behavioral Sciences and Humanities (BSH) Auditorium, room 114. This event is free and is open to students, staff, and faculty.
