  • Thanksgiving Break - Nov. 26-28

    Thanksgiving Break will be held from Nov. 26 through Nov. 28, 2014. HCC will close at 12 noon on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and remain closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28. No classes will be held during that time.

  • HCC: Raising the Bar on Academic Support

    Perched atop the hill on Student Circle at Hagerstown Community College is the Learning Support Center (LSC), an unassuming, one-story building that belies the hum of activity within its walls. Upon entering the LSC, one is greeted with a vast openness that includes more than 18,600 square feet of learning space filled with students, tutors, and LSC staff.

  • HCC students headed to NASA workshop

    (Release: October 30, 2014) – Four students from Hagerstown Community College have been selected to participate in the National Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) onsite workshop at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, in November. These students are part of a group of 40 students from the U.S.

  • HCC-WCPS STEM Fair - April 11, 2015

    HCC is partnering with Washington County Public Schools to offer a STEM Fair in April 2015. HCC held its first STEM Fair in April 2012 to coincide with the opening of the new STEM Building and the Kepler Theater expansion. The 2015 STEM Fair will be held on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will once again feature exhibits and activities for children in K-12.

  • Student Events on Campus - Oct. 20-25

    During the week of October 20-25, a variety of events will be held on the HCC campus for students. All events are free and open to current students.

  • HCC receives district award for website

    (Release: October 15, 2014) – Hagerstown Community College recently received the NCMPR District 1 Gold Medallion Award in the website category. The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations is the leading professional development organization exclusively serving marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.
