  • New law allows HCC to lower tuition for bordering out-of-state counties

    For Hagerstown Community College, that means that residents in Franklin and Fulton Counties, Pa.; Berkeley, Morgan, and Jefferson Counties, W.V.; and Loudoun County, Va.; will pay $230 per credit this fall, compared to $246 for other out-of-state counties. This will save these residents $48 on each three-credit course and at least $960 on a 60-credit associate degree. 

  • HCC and Joint Veterans Council held meeting

    (May 25, 2017) – Hagerstown Community College recently held a meeting with members of the Joint Veterans Council of Washington County to discuss recruitment, enrollment, retention, and support services for student veterans at HCC.

  • Volleyball camp offered at HCC this summer

    Volleyball camp will be offered at Hagerstown Community College this summer, for students in grades five through 12. Camp for grades five to eight will be held July 31 to August 3, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Grades nine to 12 will meet July 1 to August 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. 

  • HCC announces spring 2017 dean’s list

    Hagerstown Community College recently announced its dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be attending school full-time (12 credits or more) and must maintain a GPA of 3.5 and above.

  • Pinning ceremony honors HCC health sciences graduates

    The 2017 graduates of the health sciences division at Hagerstown Community College were honored at a pinning ceremony on May 13. Dental assisting, dental hygiene, medical assisting, paramedic, pharmacy technician, and radiography were among the program areas included in this year’s ceremony.
