Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is sponsoring a free scholarship workshop on Tues., Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Valley Eatery (upper level Career Programs Building).

Scholarship topics include:

    * Is it worth it?
    * Where do I start?
    * Who can assist me?
    * What information do I need for scholarship applications?
    * How do I navigate CollegeFish?

The annual "Dig Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Volleyball Tournament will be held on Mon., Oct. 18, in the ARCC, beginning at 6 p.m. The fundraiser will feature a bake sale by Phi Theta Kappa.

The annual Middle States Regional Honors in Action Conference will be held on Sat., Oct. 9, on the Dundulk campus in Baltimore, beginning at 8:30 a.m. First 20 PTK members to sign-up can attend.

HCC's Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), will host a car wash as the Sears Auto Center by the Valley Mall in Hagerstown on Sat., April 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Any donations received will contribute to fundraising efforts for the upcoming Relay for Life event on April 23.

The American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life for Washington County Colleges" will be held on Fri., April 23, beginning at 7 p.m., in the ARCC. The event will end at 7 a.m. on Sat., April 24.
