Summer Job Fair

The HCC Internship and Job Services Office and the Student Government Association (SGA) will hold a summer job fair on Thursday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Student Center.

Several area employers will be on-site to meet with students. The event will feature free food and giveaways. Free and open to the public.

In honor of Irish American Heritage Month, folk artist Christopher James will perform a mix of ballads and work, love, and pub songs on Tuesday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, in the Student Center.

HCC will host the University of Maryland Gymkana Troupe on Friday, March 7, beginning at 7 p.m., in the ARCC. Open to students, staff/faculty, and the public. Donations of $1 per person will be collected at the door.

HCC's SGA and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will hold a special kickoff event for Relay for Life of Washington County on Wed., Jan. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Student Center. Free and open to all credit students.

NYC Bus Trip

The HCC SGA and Robinwood Players Theater Club is hosting a chartered bus trip to New York City on Sat., Feb. 15. Attendees will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and have the opportunity to take a special tour of the Rockefeller Collection of Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. Following the tour, attendees can explore the sights and sounds of NYC.

Students and staff are invited to take part in a chartered bus trip to New York City on Sat., Feb. 15, to view the Rockefeller Collection of Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas at the MET.

HCC’s Student Government Assoc. invites fall credit students and their families to a wonderful evening of holiday cheer on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Center Hilltop Grill. The evening features a full dinner (roast beef w/ mashed potatoes, fettuccini alfredo, salad, bread, dessert and drinks) and carols from around the world, led by professional musician Mark Rust. Admission is a canned food item for the SGA Food Pantry. You must have reservations for this event. Please respond to this e-mail with the number of seats you need reserved.
