Richard Emeni, CEO of Linked Ventures, a client in the Technical Innovation Center at Hagerstown Community College, recently won second place in the Business Plan Competition at the Power of Possibilities Summit at the Garrett College Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in McHenry, Maryland.
Emeni worked closely with counselors at SCORE to fine tune his entry for the competition. The business plan for providing mobile health care in rural areas using state-of-the-art wireless technology and data collection tools was well received and attracted attention for its potential application in numerous environments around the world.
