Hagerstown Community College is partnering with PNC Bank and the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce to offer a free, one-day seminar, “Women in Business: Making Time to Focus on What’s Important,” on Fri., June 8, from 8:15 to 11:30 a.m., in the Career Programs Building on HCC’s main campus.
Registration begins at 8:15 a.m., followed by a continental breakfast. Keynote speaker will be Ana Harvey, director, U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership, who will speak on the topic of “The Three C’s Vital for Women Entrepreneurs: Counseling, Capital, and Contracts.” Following the keynote, PNC University Training Manager Kathleen Tomasello will speak about emotional intelligence. The seminar will end with a discussion panel moderated by Nicole Quiroga, general manager, Telemundo.
