Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Business Services Division, in collaboration with the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), will offer a day of appreciation and learning for local administrative professionals. This annual event will be held on Fri., April 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Elliott Center on HCC’s main campus.
Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. followed immediately by a continental breakfast sponsored by IAAP, Hager Chapter. A series of sessions and workshops will follow. Topics include “Making Yourself Indispensable,” with leadership coach Mary Ellen Waltemire; “Computer Tips and Tricks” with HCC faculty and staff; “Cybersecurity” with HCC cybersecurity instructors; and “Recovering from Major Setbacks” with Waltemire.
This event is specially designed to encourage employers to reward the hard-working administrative assistants who often form the backbones of companies and corporations. Cost is $79. Fee includes continental breakfast and door prizes.
