The paralegal field is experiencing a faster than average growth, according to the United States Department of Labor, and now you can receive a paralegal certificate through Hagerstown Community College’s Center for Continuing Education in just six weeks.
The course, designed for beginning as well as advanced legal workers, will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning April 5 through May 14 at the HCC Valley Mall Training Center.
Students will be trained to assist trail attorneys, interview witnesses, investigate complex fact patterns, research the law and assist in preparing cases for courtroom litigation. Area attorneys, including Janene Jackson, Esq., will instruct the class.
Registration form and payment need to be received at least one week prior to the first class session. Cost for the course is $994. Educational loans may be available.
