This fall, the Continuing Education and Business Services Division at Hagerstown Community College will offer several genealogy courses in October and November.
“Intro to Genealogy” will be offered twice during the fall semester. The first session will be held on Friday mornings, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, beginning Oct. 18 and ending Nov. 8. The second session will be held on Monday evenings, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Oct. 21 and ending Nov. 11.
“Genealogy Plus” will be held on Friday afternoons, from 1:30 to 4 p.m., beginning Oct. 18 and ending Nov. 11. “Genealogy Research Trip,” a one-day trip to the National Archives or the DAR Library, will be offered on Tues., Oct. 29. Tour fee includes motor coach transportation/gratuity. There is an additional $6 fee for entrance into the DAR Library.
