All new students must meet with an Academic Advisor prior to registering for classes. Advisors are available to meet with students on both a walk-in and appointment basis.
The purpose of appointments is to give students a dedicated time to work with an academic advisor on developing and planning a certificate and/or a degree program. These appointments can also be used for career and transfer planning. Please be on time and bring any pertinent documents (i.e. transcripts, test scores, etc.) with you, and plan to spend approximately forty-five minutes with an academic advisor. Please call 240-500-2530.
The purpose of walk-ins is to assist students with general and basic academic advising needs. This includes (but is not limited to) changing majors, course issues, and quick immediate needs. Further academic planning may require an appointment to be made.
