The Student Activities Office at Hagerstown Community College offers complementary opportunities that allow a student to develop through social, intellectual, leadership and extra- curricular experiences. Involvement in student activities may be in a leadership role or strictly participatory, depending on the student’s level of interest.
The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the voice of the student body on issues concerning campus life and participates in shaping policies and student regulations. All HCC students are invited to join and are invited to run for an office if they meet the minimum requirements. Elections are held at the end of the spring semester.
The SGA is responsible for organizing a wide variety of events for the entire student body. Activities include on-campus entertainment such as dances, plays, workshops, movies, picnics and lectures. They plan trips to amusement parks, baseball games and much more.
There is also a variety of clubs and organizations to join.
For more information regarding the SGA and campus activities as well as Clubs and Organizations you can view their website , or call 240-500-2225.
The SGA and campus clubs meet the third Thursday of every month at 3:00 pm in the Student Center Conference Room 1. YOU ARE INVITED! Bring your ideas for events or concerns you have about campus and let your voice be heard!
