HCC has introduced several new options to make it faster and more convenient for students to complete their programs of study. These include new evening course packages, a growing number of online programs and courses, and credit for prior learning.
New Evening Course Packages
HCC is now offering new evening course packages, which allow students to take multiple classes each semester by attending class one or two nights per week.
Evening schedule options:
One evening: Two classes (6 credits)
Time frames: 5 to 7:45 p.m. and 8 to 10:45 p.m.
Two evenings: Three or four classes (9-12 credits)
Time frames: Mix and match from available time frames
- 5 to 6:15 p.m. or 5 to 7:45 p.m.
- 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. or 6:30 to 9:15 p.m.
- 8 to 9:15 p.m. or 8 to 10:45 p.m.
- 9:30 to 10:45 p.m.

Credit for Prior Learning
Students enrolling at HCC have a variety of options for receiving credit for prior learning and experience. Whether its college credits from another college or university, or informal educational experience, HCC can help students transition into their desired programs of study.
