Introduction to PLC

The course introduces students to the Allen Bradley SLC-500 and PLC-5, A.I. Series,and RSLogix software. Topics include standard relay-type instructions, timers, counters, sequencers, move instructions, and arithmetic operations. This is a hands-on course ideal for electricians, technicians,and engineers who wish to upgrade their skills. Prerequisite: "Intro to Personal Computing" or equivalent computer experience. Introduction to CNC Programming
An entry-level introduction to CNC operation and basic programming for anyone involved in machine operation, setup, or maintenance. Topics will include: control functions, definitions of capabilities, and descriptions of machine control capabilities. Basic programming will include T/M code definitions and usages. General codes supporting most machine functions will be addressed in a split lecture/lab schedule. (Textbook Required)
