Current Projects:
A new on-campus internship program, InnovaBio-MD, started Fall 2009. Projects are contracted from local agencies for students to perform during their internship program (BTC-269 and BTC-270) as well as a new course targeted toward high school students, Introduction to Applied Biotechnology Research (BTC-102). The InnovaBio-MD labs are located in the Technical Innovation Center, labs 119 and 120. The Director, Dr. Rick Ulrich, is a Ph.D. level scientist formerly from the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.
