GO Evo Campus Check-in
GO Evo Campus Check-in
As we navigate through this health crisis, we are monitoring the health of all individuals that are on campus. If you are planning on coming to campus, we want to ensure that you do not have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. The College is asking everyone that comes to campus to complete a brief COVID-19 health survey. To facilitate the process of self-assessment, the College will be using the secure GO EVO personal protective app. This app is designed to allow students, faculty, staff, and visitors to safely report any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. Hagerstown Community College is doing its part to limit the exposure of COVID-19 on the campus. If you are experiencing any of the signs or symptoms of COVID-19, do NOT come to campus.
There are two ways you can complete this survey. You can complete the survey by using the GO EVO app on your phone or by signing in as a visitor at any one of the many Go EVO check-in stations on campus.
GO EVO Phone App
Go EVO is a secure personal protective app that can be downloaded to your smartphone. The application is free and an be used each day to check in, prior to coming to Hagerstown Community College. You can choose to not allow the app to track your locations and turn off notifications. Download the app via your respective app store, setup an account using your HCC email, and answer the questions each day you plan to come to campus.
GO EVO Computer Check-In Stations
HCC has installed computer and printer stations in every building on the college campus. Those stations have been placed at the main entrances to the buildings. There are signs throughout the buildings that will direct you to a GO EVO check in station. If you are checking in as a student or visitor at one of the check-in stations, there are instructions with how to complete the process. The computer check-in station will be ask the same COVID-19 health screening questions that are on the phone app. Once you have completed the survey you will be able to print the “Able to Report to Campus” message. You must keep this printed message with you at all times when you are on campus. If you receive an “Unable to Report to Campus” message, you will NOT be allowed to proceed into the building or any classroom/office on campus.
All registered students coming to campus must register for the Go EVO app. If you forget your phone and are on campus, you can still sign in, as a visitor, using one of the Go EVO check-in stations.
If you are a registered student with HCC and you are taking ALL online courses and will not be coming to campus, you will not be using the Go EVO app. You will NOT need to complete the COVID-19 health screening survey to take online courses. If you need to come to the HCC campus to meet with an advisor, speak to a faculty member or to go to the Campus Bookstore, you will complete the survey at one of the GO EVO check-in stations.
