HCC Early College Degree Program students graduate

Hagerstown Community College is pleased to announce the graduates in the Early College Degree Program. Thirty-four students are earning associate degrees from HCC at the same time they are completing high school.

The Early College Degree Program, formerly Middle College, is a partnership between HCC and Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) to allow college-ready high school students the opportunity to earn college degrees or certificates while completing their high school diplomas.

The graduates in the 2023 class include the following students:

Barbara Ingram School of the Arts

  • Mukisa Serufusa – A.S. Computer Science, transferring to Messiah University
     

Boonsboro High School

  • Lochlan Joyce – A.S. Arts and Sciences, Physics and Mathematics Concentrations, transferring to the University of Maryland College Park
  • Nicholas Mayonado – A.S. Arts and Sciences, transferring to Mount St. Mary’s University
  • Jesse McGuffin – A.S. Cybersecurity, transferring to Stevenson University
     

Clear Spring High School
