HCC students to perform “And Then They Came for Me”

Due to the COVID-19 situation, this production has been canceled.

(March 12, 2020)— Students from Hagerstown Community College’s Elements of Dramatic Production course will perform James Still’s award-winning play “And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank,” on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, at 8 p.m., in the Kepler Center Blackbox Theater on HCC’s main campus.

General admission is $5, but HCC students, staff, and faculty can attend for free. To purchase tickets online, visit www.hagerstowncc.edu/productions.

This multimedia play weaves videotaped interviews of two teenage friends of Anne Frank, Holocaust survivors Eva Schloss and Ed Silverberg, with live actors recreating scenes from their lives during WWII. Production made possible by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.
