HCC students tour Volvo

(December 20, 2018) – Students studying mechanical engineering technology and advanced manufacturing recently went on a tour of the Volvo plant in Hagerstown.

“Students were able to witness firsthand the application of knowledge taught in the classroom, used in an industrial setting,” said Olu Bamiduro, HCC instructor of mechanical engineering technology. “It is very important to understand that manufacturing settings such as Volvo utilize all branches or disciplines of engineering.”
