Faculty Advisors
Faculty Advisors
HCC offers eight different academic divisions. After selecting your program path and completing one semester of courses, you'll be assigned a faculty advisor to help you on your academic journey. Alternatively, students still in high school, in their first semester at HCC, or those that need assistance with something not related to their selected program will see a retention specialist. Retention specialists are there to assist you with registration, scheduling, change of majors, explaining college policies, navigating transfers, and more.
If you don't know your faculty advisor, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Self-Service and sign in
- Choose the Student Planning tab
- Choose Plan Your Degree
- Click the Advising tab. Your advisor’s name is at the top left, near the envelope icon (if your advisor is listed as Retention & Registration Office, you should contact a retention specialist)
- Click to send an email
- To make an appointment with your faculty advisor, find them from the list below.
Below you'll find a full list of faculty advisors and their links to schedule an appointment. Please reach out to your assigned faculty advisor via their personal links.
